Product representation

We photograph our sarees in natural light and take care to represent colour, texture, and detail as accurately as possible. That said, screen settings, lighting, and device displays can all affect how a colour or texture actually appears — so slight differences between what you see online and what arrives are possible, and not a defect.

Some of our product visuals use AI-assisted imaging to accurately represent fine embroidery, weave, and fabric detail on a piece — this is used only to enhance clarity, never to misrepresent the actual product, colourway, or craftsmanship. Where this applies, we aim to keep it consistent with the real saree in hand.

Handloom & handcrafted variation

Many House of Sehej pieces are handwoven or hand-embroidered — which means no two pieces are ever perfectly identical. Slight irregularities in weave, embroidery placement, colour, or finish are part of what makes each piece genuinely one-of-a-kind. These are a mark of real craftsmanship and human hands at work, not a manufacturing flaw.

Made-to-order timelines

Some of our premium handloom pieces are made to order by our weavers and artisans. Handcrafted work takes the time it takes — we don't rush this process, even for a specific event date, as that's how quality gets compromised. Expected dispatch timelines are clearly marked on each product page.

Receiving your order

If your package arrives with outer packaging that looks tampered with or damaged, please refuse delivery rather than accepting it. Once a delivery is accepted, we'll assume it was received intact.
